tax report accepted by IFTA
The Fuel tax module includes all
reports necessary to complete monthly and quarterly returns for the individual
state fuel tax reports and is accepted by IFTA. Set up state rates for both IFTA
reporting and state mileage tax reporting with the ability to update IFTA
requirements. Omni's IFTA report is automatically calculated
quarterly. Attach generated report to required state forms without manual
calculations reducing the cost associated with processing fuel tax.
Flexible
fuel entry and import capabilities.
Omni's flexible fuel entry
and import capabilities can download fuel from your fuel card vendor, and
import purchases from bulk fuel. With download and interface capabilities
you will decrease the time and reduce the cost involved with manual entry.
Automatically
create routes from dispatch with the ability to insert fuel points for fuel tax
mileage calculations.
Integration
with dispatch obtains locations associated with a load, based on the actual
movement within the dispatch module. These locations include deadhead origin,
load origin, destination, as well as any pick-up, stop offs or fuel locations:
Use PC Miler, Rand McNally or Prophecy interface to automatically calculate
practical mileage routes for trips. Thereby eliminating the need for
additional personnel required to enter trip miles from driver envelope or the
cost with using an expensive outside service decreasing cost associated with
recording fuel tax miles.
Automatically
charge contractors for fuel tax deficiencies.
Omni
automatically charges contractors for fuel tax deficiencies. The system records
individual tractor mpg and fuel purchases to calculate monthly fuel tax
deficiencies and automatically charge to settlements. Ensuring charges to the
contractor for deficiencies are not paid by the company.

Omni software database with inbound messages and locations.
Information received from a mobile
communications system will automatically update Omni operations with messages
and locations. Allowing the dispatcher visibility of critical information from
one system results in amore timely and accurate access of information which
improves utilization. Ultimately delivering you the most cost effective
technology.
Send
miscellaneous messages.
Send miscellaneous messages, customer
pick up directions and complete dispatch information. Dispatcher can send all
relevant information from the Omni system to the mobile communications without
re-entering the information. Decreasing the time and cost to duplicate
information that needs to be sent to a drive in another system.
Fuel Card Interface:
Interfaces
with all major fuel card vendors including EFS, Comdata, T-Check, TCH ( Flying
J) and Trans Platinum.
Fuel card downloads are imported
seamlessly into the Omni software. Fuel cost and advances will post
automatically to settlements for drivers and contractors. Fuel purchases are
posted to fuel tax. Odometer readings will update tractor information for
maintenance and mpg reporting. Reduces internal administration cost associated
with processing fuel purchases and recording advances as well as updating
maintenance information.
On-line
advances from an advance service.
Omni provides on-line advances from
an advance service such as Comdata, EFS, TCHK, etc. With this ability,
advances from dispatch and
automatically charge the driver and set up pay to the service. This
provides a timely posting of advance money plus a time saving advantage for the
dispatcher with a paperless transaction. Personnel does not have to call
the service or complete a form with authorization codes for the service.
Codes are downloaded into the system from the service as needed.
EDI Interface:
EDI
capabilities.
The Omni system has all standard EDI
formats available. Customized changes for special requirements are
available. EDI transactions are created without duplicate entries. Most
systems crate a text file with information that has to be reformatted by a vin.
The Omni system is a standard 3040 format. Reducing the cost associated with
having to have an expensive outside service to reformat your data to EDI
standards.
