Maintenance Features:
Record
maintenance cost in detail for equipment.
Record maintenance cost in detail for
equipment by entering internal and outside work orders for complete maintenance
cost control. Providing detail cost information for analyzing individual
equipment and fleets for reduction of maintenance cost.
Complete
preventative maintenance program.
Set your own PM parameters for service
requirements for tractors/trailers or other equipment. Enter PM update
information through menu access or work order. Allows for up to six
separate PM schedules based on miles, days or hours. Recognize when preventive
maintenance is due so that scheduled work can be completed which saves on larger
repair bills.
Complete
parts inventory.

parts inventory. Enter and update parts inventory manually or
by bar code input. Print parts inventory reports. Keeping track of
inventory, parts usage, cost and vendor prices saves money on lost inventory and
the cost of inventory itself.
Complete
tire inventory system.
The Omni system includes a complete
tire inventory system for tracking tires. Assign tires to specific tractors and
trailer with brand numbers. Tracking how each tire manufacturer may perform over
life provides information for future tire purchases realizing maximum savings
with purchasing the best performing tires.
Fleet
maintenance interface system with dispatch.
Omni's Fleet Maintenance interface
system will display a warning for scheduled service. The dispatcher is
notified on any tractor or trailer maintenance schedule that is past due. This
will allow the dispatcher to schedule the equipment back for service when needed
decreasing the chance for paying outside maintenance on the road and thereby
saving money.
Parts
reordering system.
Omni's Parts reordering system
produces an automated parts reorder report with
suggested vendors based on price. Saving time and money by selecting the right
vendor based on price per unit.
Safety Features:
Maintain driver qualifications.
Maintain driver qualifications by
tracking license expiration, physical
due date and annual review due date of driver. Operations will not be permitted
to dispatch driver/contractor whose due dates exceed the defined parameters.
Keeping track of required DOT regulated dates and maintaining driver information
keeps drivers on the road without running the risk of being shut down due to out
of service, thereby maximizing uptime and driver performance.
Random
drug screening.
Randomly select drivers and
contractors for
drug screen tests internally reducing the cost associated with using an
expensive outside service.
Flexible
pay rates.
Omni offers the capability for
flexible pay rates. Individual pay rates can be assigned to
company drivers and contractor tractors including percentage for both singles
and teams. Set up individual contractor pay rates based on mileage or
percentage for each contractor tractor and trailer. Manual calculations to
accommodate all types of pay rates are eliminated thereby reducing the cost
associated with processing payroll.
Automatic
DOT warnings.
The Omni system will display a
warning message for dispatch when DOT requirements are within 30 days or past
due. Warning reports are also available for all
driver and equipment DOT requirements. Reducing the cost associated with
detained equipment or drivers at scale inspections.
Memo field available for adding comments
or notes on a driver.
Record notes or comments on a driver
such, as lane preferences or termination notes, so you don't rehire by mistake
later. Reducing the cost associated with driver retention and the costly
mistakes of rehire.
Full accident reporting module.
Omni's full accident reporting module
is a function that you won't find on any other system. Record all DOT accidents
with the ability to inquire by driver and print reports by date. Quick and
accurate access to accident information reduces the cost associated with
processing accidents.
